RGPV stands for Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, which means Rajiv Gandhi Technical University in Hindi. It is located in Bhopal, the capital city of Madhya Pradesh state. It was established in 1998 by merging several engineering colleges in the region. It has been accredited by NAAC with an A grade and ranked among the top 200 universities in India by NIRF.
RGPV offers a wide range of courses in various fields of engineering, technology, pharmacy, management, architecture and more. It has 14 University Teaching Departments (UTDs) and 219 affiliated colleges across the state. It also has a distance learning program called EDUSAT for students who cannot attend regular classes.

BArch: This is a five-year undergraduate program in architecture with an emphasis on the design, planning and construction of buildings and spaces. The admission is based on the NATA score and MP BE counselling.
BPharm: This is a four-year undergraduate program in pharmacy with a focus on drug discovery, formulation, analysis and quality control. The admission is based on PEPT score and MP BE counselling.
DPharm: This is a two-year diploma program in pharmacy for students who have completed 10+2 with the science stream. The admission is based on merit and MP BE counselling.
MTech: This is a two-year postgraduate program in engineering with various specializations such as computer science, mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics and communication, nanotechnology, energy and environment, etc. The admission is based on the GATE score and MP ME counselling.
MPharm: This is a two-year postgraduate program in pharmacy with various specializations such as pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmaceutical chemistry, quality assurance, etc. The admission is based on GPAT score and MP ME counselling.
MBA: This is a two-year postgraduate program in management with various specializations such as finance, marketing, human resource, operations, etc. The admission is based on the CMAT score and MP MET counselling.
MCA: This is a three-year postgraduate program in computer applications with a focus on software development and programming. The admission is based on the NIMCET score and MP MET counselling.
PhD: This is a doctoral program in various fields of engineering, technology, pharmacy, management and architecture for students who have completed their master's degree with a minimum of 55% marks. The admission is based on an entrance test and interview conducted by RGPV.
Diploma: This is a three-year diploma program in various fields of engineering and technology for students who have completed 10th standard with a minimum of 35% marks. The admission is based on PPT score and MP PPT counselling.
These are some of the courses offered by RGPV university that you can choose from depending on your interest and eligibility.
